Amitava’s primary focus is to provide cost optimized leading edge business solutions to the small and medium sized enterprise, and help them offer world-class service and products regardless of their small size. Once the primary target is achieved, AMAR Consulting WLL will have transformed itself into a creator of value added enterprises in the small and mid-sized business segment in the entire MENA region.
In 1997 Amitava had left India to lead a team of IT consultants to redesign a critical system for Saudi ARAMCO under the corporate banner of NIIT – then India’s second largest software manufacturer. A successful completion of this project saw Amitava being asked to take over as the IT Program Manager for the Y2K Project in Al-Rajhi Bank. He was also nominated as one of the representatives of the Saudi Banking industry to the International Year 2000 Forum for the MENA countries held in Jeddah. In 2000, Al-Rajhi Bank contracted Amitava’s services for leading another mission critical project. The Tadawul Project was to convert the Saudi Shares Registration Company (Riyadh Stock Exchange) operations from online to real time. While SAMA managed the overall program, each bank had its individual project to link to the real time engine driving the stock market. The successful launch of Tadawul (2001) was a significant achievement not only for the Saudi Stock Exchange but for the Saudi nation as a whole. Amitava then managed the restructuring of Al-Rajhi’s Credit Trade Financing Scheme and the system got a new branding in its browser-based new avatar. Such was the impact of the new system, that the bank reached new heights of profit in that year (2005). The Bank also used Amitava’s services to streamline the functioning of its IT Department. His sound foundation in Change Management, Program Management, and Service & Delivery Management helped Amitava streamline the IT Systems Engineering departments in two of the largest banks in the Middle East (namely Al-Rajhi and NBK).
From mid-2005 Amitava was actively involved in implementing ITIL approved Service and Delivery Management and CMMi Level 3 standards in all IT Operations and Projects. Both the certifications were achieved in 2006. Al Rajhi was the first Bank in the Middle East to be awarded both the certificates.
During 2007-2009, Amitava was involved with the National Bank of Kuwait restructuring the IT Division and actively streamlining the IT operations along the lines of business expectations.
Amitava had started his career in the 80’s as an IT consultant with NIIT, the initiator of India’s IT revolution. Within a couple of years he went on to become the Project Manager in one of the better known public libraries in Kolkata for their Library Automation Project. While he was on this assignment, Amitava also automated the publication department of a deemed university in Kolkata. Amitava then went on to manage the EDP Department of the M. L. Dalmiya group of industries. After a successful stint with the Dalmiya Group, he spent a brief while designing the logistics for the operations of Kolkata’s first modern departmental store – The Charnock City.
Amitava has sound experience in managing Service and Delivery Management areas of large IT setup-s. He specializes in hosting Corporate Management & Corporate Leadership workshops, and resolving organizational problems in People Management, Program Management, Corporate Communication and Relationship Management areas. He represented Kuwait in the recently concluded MENA Conference 2010 on IT Governance Risk & Compliance in Dubai.
He has acquired professional qualifications in areas like Six Sigma, ITIL, Process Quality and has worked extensively in Process Re-engineering. He is a senior member at IEEE, was a reviewer of PMBOK3 with PMI. He did his schooling in St. Patrick’s and his business studies under the GMP Program at IIM, Calcutta. His passion is public speaking, community service, travelling, studying philosophy, researching Indian classical music, still photography and debating.
Mr. Atul Srivastava
Atul, a post graduate in Social Work from Delhi University, has over 28 years of experience in the field of Human Resource and is fully conversant with various aspects of HRD, Personnel and Industrial Relations.
Atul has worked on various assignments with reputed companies like Delhi Cloth & General Mills, Bongaigaon Refinery & Petrochemical Ltd., Hindustan Organic Chemicals Ltd., Pawanhans Helicopters Ltd., Siemens Information Systems Ltd., and Cap Gemini Ltd.
Atul, a well known trainer in the HR fraternity has a flair for public speaking and people management. He is also associated with various prestigious Management Institutes, including ISB at Hyderabad, as visiting facilitator / faculty.
Mr. Annavarapoo Venkateshwarloo
Venkateshwarloo is a first class Mechanical Engineer and a Chartered Engineer from the Institution of Engineers (India).
He brings with him over 35 years of experience involving Training, Education, Human Resource Management, Sales and Marketing in Indian Oil Corporation. He is a certified trainer for Dr. DeBono's `Six Thinking Hats'. He also holds a certificate on quality systems issued by TQMI.
He is a visiting faculty in several Management institutes in Mumbai in the areas of General Management, HRM, HRD, OD and Behavioral Dynamics. He is a guest faculty at the Indian Institute Of Capital Markets and at ACC - RCD.
He is a Life member of ISTD, ISABS, IIIE, NITIE, ASCI, TSI and also a member of AIMA (All India Management Association).
Dr. (Mr.) Ashok Koparday
Dr. Ashok completed his medical studies from Seth G. S. Medical College, K. E. M. Hospital, which is renowned for its teaching. He attended the Department of Sexual Medicine at K. E. M. Hospital 'SEX OPD'.
Dr. Ashok was a teacher in his alma mater, Seth G. S. Medical College, K. E. M. Hospital in the University of Mumbai and later in the Grant Medical College and Sir J. J. Group of Hospitals of the University of Mumbai.
With his rich medical experience and expertise in psycho - social dynamics he has designed innovative techniques & methods applicable for today's Family Life Management and Relationship / Intimacy Skills. He is also an Honorary Member of the Family Planning Association of India and has been honored as a Fellow to the Council of Sex Education and Parenthood (International), H. O. Washington D. C.
Anita Shantaram
Mrs. Anita Shantaram is the first woman to be certified as Grid Instructor in India after successfully completing the course in USA. She holds a post graduation degree in Industrial Psychology from Bombay University.
A faculty member at Sydenham College, Mumbai for (BMS) on Communication skills and Orgnanisational Behavior, she has earlier taught Psychology at Jaihind College, Mumbai.
She has been a guest faculty to various Management Institutes and has conducted more than 400 workshops on various management development topics like Interpersonal Relationships, Public Speaking, Customer Service, Interviewing Skills, Time Management, Stress Management, Communication Skills, Written & Spoken English, Transactional Analysis, Self - Development, Presentation Skills, Work-Life Balance and Personal Effectiveness.
Her articles have been published in BMA Review and The Times of India. Her first book 'Speak Well Do Well' on public speaking skills has been well received.
Darshana Swaly
Ms. Darshana Swaly is an expert in the field of Human Relations. She has done her B. A. in Psychology from St. Xaviers College, Mumbai and M. A. in Psychiatric Social Work from the Tata Institute Of Social Science. She also has a Diploma in Personal Counselling from the Xavier's Institute Of Counselling and a Diploma in Training & Development from the Indian Society Of Training & Development. Simultaneously having developed a deep interest in Transactional Analysis, she undertook intensive training in this area from the "Transactional Analysis Society Of India."

Gopal Sehjpal
Gopal is holder of a post - graduate in Diploma in Personnel Management, apart from a Master's in Philosophy, and a Degree in Economics & Commerce. He is also a Certified Quality Engineer (by IIQM, Jaipur) and a certified ISO 9000 Lead Auditor (IRCA).
During a stint of 32 years with KODAK, Mr. Sehjpal had a lot of international exposure. He was trained in USA (Rochester, NY), Singapore and Bangkok. He has also made presentations at international conferences at Singapore, Bangkok and Dubai on the subjects of Communication and Performance Related Pay System.

Rekha Bhattacharya

Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist.
Rekha completed her graduation in Psychology at the school of human development from University of Texas and an M. A. in Clinical Psychology from Mumbai University. She is a an artist, writer and trained classical dancer.
She is currently practicing as a Clinical psychologist and Psychotherapist at private clinics in Mumbai and Thane. She has received training at private and government evaluation centers for using various techniques of psychological assessment especially for administering comprehensive test batteries that comprise of Intelligence tests, personality inventories, projective and semi projective tests. She uses innovative methods based on cognitive therapies, psychoanalysis behavior modification strategies, client centered therapy, and gestalt approaches for gaining a better insight into the client's issues.
Currently she organizes and coordinate events with Karadi Tales Inc. and trains people to use Karadi books for art therapy. The sessions are designed to be interactive and educative for groups through creative aids.

B.sc graduates with chemistry as a major subject. Done diploma in Marketing Management and Diploma in advanced public relationship management from L.N. Welingkar Institute, Mumbai University.

Vikas Bhatia
Vikas is an electrical engineer from IIT Mumbai and also has a CPIM certification from APICS. He is also a Certified Practitioner of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming).
He has a total of 14 years of experience working in large multi - national companies like Philips Electronics and Ernst & Young Consulting (Capgemini India Consulting). In his career, he has performed variety of roles which included R&D, New Product Introduction Management, Strategic Procurement & Vendor Development, ERP implementation, IT management and consulting, Sales & BD, Alliances & Partners management. His last role at Capgemini involved managing a large team of professionals in the Microsoft Solutions Area.
He is also a visiting faculty at the Symbiosis Institute of Mgmt and HRD (SCMHRD) and has delivered several guest lectures at IIT SOM, SP Jain Institute of Mgmt. and Indiatimes forums.
